My lights-and-sounds–integrated ORCA model kit concept is now in full retail production by the master model makers Agora Models who are based in the UK.
 

Following their detailed technical evaluation of my original design documentation, reference research, and 1:14 scale proof-of-concept prototype, Agora Models began the process of turning my Lights and Sounds ORCA Model Kit into a 1:16 scale retail product. At the invitation of Agora Models, I joined their 3D development team to supervise their 'digital-to-physical' translation process. This included ensuring the ORCA's final tooling geometry, surface topology, structural architecture, and component integration remained accurately aligned with the two original onscreen filming vessels.
 

My technical contribution was informed by my own extensive hands-on pop culture design and model making experience, all of which were expertly deployed to assist Agora Models 1:16 scale production model, enabling Agora Models to achieve historical authenticity and, in the words of Matt Hooper, from JAWS, 'it really is a miracle of evolution!'

Close collaboration with Agora Models — internationally recognised for their museum-quality model kits and precision detailing — combined with my direct technical involvement overseeing the development of the 1:16 scale 3D production model, resulted in a screen accurate retail translation.
